I'm excited to launch my website offering artistic endeavors and a blog that is candid, inspirational and stimulating. This endeavor has been a long time coming and I am so grateful and honored to be able to offer my unabashed authentic true self.

It is difficult to live in a world full of hatred, divisiveness and suffering and not be emotionally affected by it. For this reason, it's imperative to find ways to create and sustain a healthy mental health. My goal is to connect with my readers through sharing the strategies and techniques I use daily to maintain and restore harmony. In addition, I hope to gain further wisdom and inspiration from your comments because we all have a story to tell. The following poem is the start of my story.

A LITTLE GIRL

My story

not unique

not special

yet a story

I'm compelled to tell

no more shame

no more hiding

no more pretending

here's the beginning

a skinny little girl

raised by mom

with two sisters

an absent dad

that made me sad

found comfort and joy

being close

to mom and sister's

held family so dear

separation brought fear

a sensitive little girl

often triggered to tears

so afraid to fly

much rather hide.
